Women Are Such Complex Creatures:

If you kiss her, you are not a gentleman,
If you don't you are not a man.

If you praise her, she thinks you are lying,
If you don't, you are good for nothing.

If you agree to all her likes, you are a wimp,
If you don't you are not understanding.

If you visit her often, you are boring,
If you don't she accuses you of double crossing.

If you are well dressed, she says you are a playboy,
If you don't, she says you are a dull guy.

If you are a minute late, she complains it's hard to wait,
If she is late, she says it is a girls way.

If you kiss her once in a while, she professes you are cold,
If you kiss her often, she yells you are taking advantage.

If you talk, she wants you to listen,
If you listen, she wants you to talk.

IN SHORT...
So simple, yet so complex,
So weak, yet so powerful,
So confusing, yet so desirable,
O...WOMEN !

Where am I heading..

These days, not mch of activity.. more of routine stuff.. get up in the morning.. rush for transport, reach office where thr are problems lined up and struggling to get your point to the management and then finally ending up the day with the same 1.5 hrs drive in transport back to so called home or accommodation..

l want to settle, yes i am not able to really find the meaning or rather the way to get this done, i do have job, my own house, family but somewhere I still feel so much unsecure - you never know what may happen tomorrow ..at the same time, I see that the time is also running out and I am growing older every day.. I wonder how people plan their life when everything looks so unstable and anything can be blown anytime.. I fear even more after this recession where BIG companies where people use to plan or dream life time career has just vanished or are struggling to survive. I dont know what is in store for our next generation..Just imagine, how difficult will be their life, how difficult it will be for them to survive in this world..

God help and bless all.

DON'T WE ALL !

DON'T WE ALL

I was parked in front of the mall wiping off my car. I had just come
from the car wash and was waiting for my friend to get out of work.
Coming my way from across the parking lot was what society would
consider a bum.
From the looks of him, he had no car, no home, no clean clothes, and no
money. There are times when you feel generous but there are other times
that you just don't want to be bothered. This was one of those "don't
want to be bothered types."
"I hope he doesn't ask me for any money," I thought.
He didn't.
He came and sat on the curb in front of the bus stop but he didn't look
like he could have enough money to even ride the bus.
After a few minutes he spoke.
"That's a very pretty car," he said.
He was ragged but he had an air of dignity around him. His scraggly
blond beard keep more than his face warm.
I said, "thanks," and continued wiping off my car.

He sat there quietly as I worked. The expected plea for money never
came.
As the silence between us widened something inside said, "ask him if
he needs any help." I was sure that he would say "yes" but I held true
to the inner voice.
"Do you need any help?" I asked.
He answered in three simple but profound words that I shall never forget.
We often look for wisdom in great men and women. We expect it from
those of higher learning and accomplishments.

I expected nothing but an
outstretched grimy hand. He spoke the three words that shook me.
"Don't we all?" he said.

I was feeling high and mighty, successful and important, above a bum
in the street, until those three words hit me like a twelve gauge
shotgun.
Don't we all?
I needed help. Maybe not for bus fare or a place to sleep, but I
needed help. I reached in my wallet and gave him not only enough for bus
fare, but enough to get a warm meal and shelter for the day. Those
three little words still ring true. No matter how much you have, no matter
how much you have accomplished, you need help too. No matter how little you
have, no matter how loaded you are with problems, even without money or
a place to sleep, you can give help.

Even if it's just a compliment, you can give that.
You never know when you may see someone that appears to have it all.
They are waiting on you to give them what they don't have. A different
perspective on life, a glimpse at something beautiful, a respite from
daily chaos, that only you through a torn world can see.
Maybe the man was just a homeless stranger wandering the streets. Maybe
he was more than that.

Maybe he was sent by a power that is great and
wise, to minister to a soul too comfortable in themselves.

Maybe God looked down, called an Angel, dressed him like a bum, then said, "go minister to that man cleaning the car, that man needs help."
Don't we all?

22nd Aug-first day of Ramadan

First day of ramadan..22nd Aug-09 - Saturday..
bad start... yesterday night we went to buy some fruits and vegetable from Shuwaikh market and after we reached home their was no electricity.. i knew my day will not be good..first, spent some time walking and expecting it may work but then it seems their was some major fault and i have no option then to sit in a car with A/C on till 3 am..fajr time/sehr was also due at 3.46 so very less time to actually have something... anyway, had some tea, bread, juice and then prayer. I didn't knew I had more troubles in store for me, morning my transport guy also defaulted and then I requested one of my colleague to pick me and so here I am in office.. hope day ends well.. INSHALLAH.
